A very nostalgic sound for me. Takes me back to the late 1970,s and 1890,s when the plebs in Western Europe where listening to Commercial punk and those more progressive were listening to are more Gritty Urban Sound. Has lot in common with the New York Sound of that period I used to attend like the New York dolls and Talking heads but also the North West of England Bands like Echo and the Bunney Men , Joy Division and maybe the Happy Mondays. Back in those days it was 18 month to 10 year prison sentance for having such unauthorised music . Did Ilike it??? I loved it. Is it commercial ?? With the right promation ,YES!! Would I give them A gig ?? YES. Would I pay for them ? NO. But I would give them a free room and board for a few days in return for a two one hour gigs. And the Black Sea is nice in Summer.
